original replacement parts. This ensures that the
safety of your power tool is maintained.
b Never service damaged batteries. All battery
maintenance should be performed by the
manufacturer or by authorised service centres
only.
7 Special safety information for battery-powered
screwdrivers
a Hold the power tool by the insulated handle
surfaces when carrying out tasks during which
the screw may come into contact with hidden
power cables. If the screw comes into contact
with a live cable, this may cause metal parts of
the device to also become live, resulting in an
electric shock.
8 Using the charger correctly
If the charger is not used in the correct way, it may
result in risks and damages. For this reason, please
read the following notes carefully.
a Before using the charger, read all instructions and
precautions regarding the charger and battery
pack. Notes can be found in these instructions
and on the device itself.
b Check the charger regularly for damages,
particularly damages to the connection cable and
the housing. A damaged battery charger may only
be used again after it has been repaired.
