1 Introduction
The M100 SM is a direct mount transmitter for
METTLER TOLEDO ISM
or RS 4 85 digital output sensors) for use with
analog or digital biocontrollers.
The M100 SM provides Bluetooth 4.0 com-
munication between the ISM sensor and the
METTLER TOLEDO iSense™ software or iSense
Mobile app. (iSense and iSense Mobile enable
ISM sensor calibration, configuration, diagnos-
tics and data logging.)
The M100 SM stores the configured span/range
and has a current output that can be aligned with
the stored span/range.
Plug and Measure means configuration of a
sensor upon connection to an M100 SM is un-
necessary.
An independent RS 4 85 MODBUS RTU interface
is also available for the M100 SM.
For communication with a process logistics
controller (PLC/DCS), the M100 SM features two
standardized analog current outputs 4 / 20 mA or
with a digital RS 4 85 digital interface (MODBUS
RTU). The M100 SM is double-galvanically isolat-
ed and provides a stable analog or digital signal.
