HRI.
When massage chair is scanning the user's body by
moving the rollers across the back, the most direct
way to determine whether the user is experiencing
discomfort
is
by
monitoring the change
in the heart rate.
This type of massage
chair and its internal
HRI
system
can
monitor
and
record
small changes in real
time. Based on the
recorded data, the machine can identify painful areas
within the body and apply massage to these points in
order to relieve pain.
Using the HRI detection system:
A) Once the HRI is pressed, with both hands placed
as shown in the adjoining diagram, the massage
chair begins the pain testing procedures and the HRI
detection system will identify the pain points in the
body via the rollers moving across the back.
B) During the testing process, the user must hold
the controller in their hands, without releasing it.
C) When the test is complete, the top of the LCD
displays the user's average heart rate and, at the
same time, the LCD body chart will display the user's
pain points. (red dots show pain points, green dots
normal).
D) Following the test, the HRI system will apply
special massages on these pain points to produce a
relaxing effect.
Note: When the HRI system is detecting pain points,
the red indicator light on the right-hand side of the
massage controller flashes and the frequency of the
flashing light indicates the user's heart rate.
However, if the indicator stays red without flashing,
this means that the HRI detection procedure has
failed, because it is necessary to keep both hands on
the hand device.
