3.3 Installation location

Do not subject the valve to excessive external stress. Select installation location so that the valve cannot be
used as a climbing aid. Position in such a way that thrust and bending forces, as well as vibrations and stresses
are kept away from the valve body. The direction of the operating medium and the installation position of the
valve can be chosen freely. The stainless steel valve can be mounted in the isolator in the sterile zone.

3.4 Insert silicone tube

The SQV fitting is pressureless and the silicone hose is empty.
The polygon swivel head is screwed on and folded down. The
hinged cover of the head part can now be opened upwards. The
silicone hose is inserted into the head piece in the section provided
for it. The hinged cover is closed, the lock nut with the polygon
turning head is guided into the intended countersink and screwed
on. Light tightening is sufficient!
A constant hose squeezing requires that the silicone hose specified
by us is used. This guarantees a trouble-free function.

3.5 Hazard information

The SQV valve is closed without pressure (NC) (spring force). If the valve is under control pressure (plunger
open), the silicone hose is not inserted, fingers must not be inserted into the hose opening on the closed head
section.
When inserting the silicone hose, the valve must be pressureless.
When closing the head part with the hinged cover and screwing it down, make sure that fingers and gloves are
not trapped by the insulator. The position indicator is visible in the slot below when the valve is open. This must
not be obstructed.

3.6 Safety instructions

It is not the responsibility of the manufacturer and therefore when using the valve ensure that
 the hose pinch valve is only used as intended as described in section 2.2
 the valve is properly connected to these systems,
 there must not be any hard or sharp objects in the operating medium which could damage the hose,
 Valves which are operated at operating temperatures >+50°C are protected against contact,
 Only competent personnel should operate and maintain the valve.

3.7 Pressure test

The pressure and function test of the hose pinch valve has already been carried out by the manufacturer. The
test pressure must not exceed 10 bar. If leakage occurs at a fitting, section 5 "Maintenance" must be observed.

3.8 Transport packaging

Only transport the hose pinch valve on suitable loading equipment, do not drop it, handle carefully.
Dispose of packaging material according to the disposal regulations / environmental protection regulations.
