• Loosen the supply hose, with the installed accessor-
ies where appropriate. Empty the hose of any liquid
medium.
• Remove the intake hose from the supply point and
empty any remaining product.
• The hose stop must be firmly pressed against the
hose outlet.

WARNING! Risk of personal injury
Supply and intake hoses must be mounted by
skilled personnel.
Only conductive hoses, (R < 50M Ω), must be used. All
hose couplings and connections must be in stainless
steel.
The supply pipe system must undergo an electrical
continuity check in addition to a cold water pressure
test.
If accessories are attached to the supply hose, the
manufacturer's instructions must be followed. Make
sure the accessories are suitable for use in ATEX
zones 1, 2, 21 or 22.

particular, the verification of electrical con-
ductivity, see

11 Maintenance

• The regular maintenance intervals must be de-
termined by the operator on the basis of the local
conditions of use and the frequency of use of the
device. The maintenance interval must not exceed
six months.
• The works carried out must be verifiably docu-
mented in writing.
• Clean the hose reel, especially the drum body, the
hose exit, and the supply and intake hoses, and re-
move dust deposits and caked layers, taking care
not to stir up the dust.
• Regularly check the freedom of movement of all
rotating parts such as the hose swivel bearing and
hose outlet.
• Perform a sight check of the supply and intake
hoses, with their connections and clamps.
• Check for leaks from the screw connections at that
hose reel and hoses.
• After completing maintenance, carry out and docu-
ment the earthing and conductivity tests in accord-
ance with the test report.

12.1 Ordering spare parts
When ordering spare parts always state the following:
• The part number and control number (see the
product identification plate).
• Detail number and name of the spare part (see

• Quantity of the parts required.
13 Recycling
The product has been designed for component mater-
ials to be recycled. Its different material types must be
handled according to relevant local regulations. Con-
tact the distributor or Nederman if uncertainties arise
when scrapping the product at the end of its service
life.
