Problem
The product does not operate.

10. Maintenance and servicing

Warning! Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. To ensure safety and
reliability, in case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
Always remove the battery pack (3) from the product before cleaning and maintenance.
a) Cleaning

Cleaning the housing

Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions to
clean the housing of the product.
• Use a moist, lint-free cloth to clean the housing of the product.
• Wipe the surface with a dry cloth afterwards.
Cleaning the blades
• Use a resin solvent (not provided) to clean the blades. Read the resin solvent manufacturer's instructions before
proceeding.
Possible cause
• The battery pack (3) is not
charged.
• The lock button (2) was not
properly pressed.
• The power adapter (10) is not
plugged in.
• Power source is faulty.
• The surrounding air temperature
is not suitable.
• Too much friction on the blade.
• Loose blade bolts.
• The blade is blunt.
• Poor cutting technique.
• Too much friction on the blade.
• The blade is dirty.
Possible solution
• Charge the battery pack (3).
• Press and hold the lock button (2)
before pulling the on/off switch (4).
• Plug the power adapter (10) into
an appropriate power source.
• Use another power source.
• Move the power adapter (10) and
the battery pack (3) to a suitable
surrounding air temperature (from
0 to +40 °C).
• Lubricate the blade.
• Tighten the bolts.
• Sharpen the blade.
