You can also lay the cables to the Screen Lift Plus in a cable hose. This
looks more elegant (fig. 53). The cable hose is available in the desired
length from your dealer or our customer service.

The diameter of the cable hose increases when you push the ends
together. This makes it easier to push through the cables with plugs.
If the connecting cables are to be laid on the floor:
Feed the cables through the cable opening at the bottom of the
tubular section into the tubular section and then pull them out at
the top (fig. 54). Connect the cables to the TV set. Refit the cable
compartment cover to the set.
Tie the cables together at the bottom using the plastic cable strap
(Z). Fix the cable harness in the strain relief. Cut off the excess cable
strap (Z) with a suitable tool.
Push the bottom tubular section cover (B1) with the cut-out for the
cable up onto the tubular section (fig. 55). Push the cover into the
gap between the sleeve of the floor bearing and the floor bearing. If
the cover is still too long, file the end off carefully with the saw edge.
Feed the cables out of the tubular section through the cut-out (fig.
56). Lay the cable hose on the floor in such a way that no one can
trip over it.
If the connecting cables are to be laid on the ceiling:
Connect the cables laid inside the tubular section to the TV set. Refit
the cable compartment cover to the set.
56).
NOTE:
If you find gaps between the individual elements of the tubular sec-
tion cover (X, B1 and B2), you can try to close these by adjusting the
height of the support arm with the mounted TV set.
