Insert support arm covers
Push the two support arm covers (X) onto the tubular section above
and below the support arm, respectively with their cut-outs facing
the support arm (fig. 44). Push them all the way up or down onto the
support arm (fig. 45 and 46).
Measuring and sawing
tubular section covers
Two parts must now be sawn from the tubular section cover (B)
which close the remaining openings at the front of the tubular sec-
tion respectively above and below the support arm.
First you have to measure how long the pieces need to be. This de-
pends on the height of the room and position of the TV set.
ATTENTION:
It is very important to make these measurements accurately to 1 mm;
otherwise there may be gaps in the cover.
-
Make sure once more that the support arm and the TV set are
positioned at the desired height. As soon as the tubular section
cover has been sawn, the height can no longer be adjusted.
-
Before measuring, check whether the support arm covers (X) are
pushed directly onto the support arm.
-
If the connecting cables are to be laid on the ceiling, also make
sure once more that a sufficient length of the cables is fed inside
the tubular section up to below the support arm (fig. 10).
Measure from the top and bottom edges of the support arm cover X
to the bottom and top edge of the floor and ceiling bearing J and K
respectively (fig. 47).
