Mounting the TV set
Align the support arm (F1) with adapter plate (F2) at eye level
(fig. 37). To do this, loosen the fastening screws of the support arm
A
and the support arm lock (G) and move the support arm up or down.
Tighten the screws when it is in the desired position. Push the sup-
port arm lock in after and also screw tight.
fa
ATTENTION:
It is very important to fasten the support arm firmly and strongly
F2
because it has to carry the weight of the TV set. Therefore tighten the
screws securely.
Screw the VESA adapter (f, not included in the delivery) tight at the
front of the adapter plate (F2) (fig. 38). Also consult the assembly
instructions enclosed with the adapter. A VESA adapter in the version
as illustrated in fig. 39 must be used for the Individual 40 Compose
G
and later versions of the Individual 40 TV set (fb).
Now remove your TV set from its previous fastening.
Pull out the mains plug of your TV set first.
Remove the cable compartment cover from the back of your TV set
(40, a). To do this, press the two clips on the top down (b) and pull
off the cable compartment cover to the rear.
A
Pull all the cables off the connection strip in the cable compartment
of the screen (c).
Remove the foot of the TV with the help of a second person (to hold
fb
the screen).
First unscrew the bracket from the fastening (fig. 41, e) with the Torx
F2
wrench.
Then unscrew the three fastening screws from the screen (d).
G
The second person lifts the screen carefully up and carries it to the
Screen Lift Plus. Hang the screen carefully into the VESA adapter
(fig. 42 and 43) and fix with screw at the bottom as described in the
assembly instructions.
Then check from the later viewing position whether the TV set is
mounted at the right height. You can correct the height if not.
One person holds the TV set, the other loosens the five screws of the
support arm and the support arm lock. Then move the support arm
and the support arm lock to the desired height (fig. 37) and tighten
again.
