Pre-assembling the support arm
and the support arm lock
If the cables are to be laid along the floor (fig. 9):
Insert the support arm (F1) from the end with the cable opening (a)
into the tubular section (A). The knurled screw on the side (b) and
the grub screw must be at the bottom (facing the end of the tubular
section with the cable opening a).
Make sure that the inside section edge of the tubular section lies be-
tween the support arm and the respective counter holder (fig. 11).
Push the support arm in the groove to the approximate position at
which the TV set is to be fixed later and tighten the four fastening
screws lightly.
Push the support arm lock (fig. 9 G, fig. 12) into the tubular section
in the same way up to immediately underneath the support arm
and also tighten it lightly.
ATTENTION:
The support arm lock must always be mounted below the support
arm.
If the cables are to be laid on the ceiling (fig. 10):
Feed all the supply cables (c) which are to be connected to the TV set
later through the cable opening (a) into the tubular section. Pull the
cables down.
Insert support arm (F1) and support arm lock (G) and screw on as de-
scribed above. The connection ends of the cables (d) must be below
the support arm and support arm lock.
NOTE:
You can also lay the cables to the Screen Lift Plus in a cable hose. This
looks more elegant (fig. 51). The cable hose is available in the desired
length from your dealer or our customer service.

The diameter of the cable hose increases when you push the ends
together. This makes it easier to push through the cables with plugs.
