BAttEry StAtuS DISPLAy (C):
Displays the current charging status of the battery, or, how much energy is still available. If all
4 LEDs are lit, the battery is fully charged. If the battery is almost empty, the LED lamp and the
battery status display will blink 10 times, then the lamp will remain lit for approx. 10 minutes at
50% brightness before the lamp's deep discharge protection switches the lamp of. This provides
suicient time to replace the battery or stop working.
CHArGING DEVICES wItH A uSB CHArGING CABLE (EGSMArtPHONES):
Suitable for products with a charge current of max. 2100 mA. For charging the device via a USB
charging cable and the USB charging port (D) on the top of the battery.
After charging, put the cap back on.
CHArGING tHE BAttEry:
• To ensure optimum functionality, we ensure completely discharging the battery during initial
use and then fully charging it.
• The charging socket (E) is located on the top of the battery under the cap.
• The battery charging status can be determined by reading the battery status (see description
above). If all 4 LEDs are lit, the battery is fully charged.
• While charging the battery, the emitter/USB cannot be operated.
• The battery can also be charged separately from the lamp, see also the "Replacing the battery"
section.
• If the lamp is not in use for longer periods of time, charge the battery approximately every
3 months to ensure a long battery life.
• After charging, make sure to close the charging port with the cap.
rEPLACING tHE BAttEry:
The battery can be quickly and easily replaced. To remove the battery, unlatch the two brackets
(F) on the top and bottom, see drawing. This way, the battery can be charged while continuing to
work using a separately available replacement battery.
