Limit_low & Limit_high threshhold for cloud coverage are defined in
the configuration tab (here, limits are -7°C & -18°C but they can
be adjusted to your observing site and your own limits).
Sky temperature (Tciel) is calculated:
Body temperature (Tbase) of the sensor is substracted to the measured temperature (Tmeasured);
this is done by the electronic inside the Sentinel. External temperature (Text) is substracted by the
firmware to get absolute temperature and indication of cloud coverage.
A gain can be applied to internal measure of the sensor; this gain can be set by software – typically
between 400 & 800. If the cloud coverage is correlated to external temperature, lower the value; if
it's anti-correlated, increase it.
