Operating instructions Pneumatic-hydraulic pump

3.3 Residual risks

Not all risks could be avoided structurally without confinement of its intended use. The residual risks of the pump have been analyzed with a risk
assessment.
Possible residual risks that cannot be avoided structurally could be:
Bursting of a hydraulic hose
Slipping on oil through hydraulic leak
Unintended operation / turning-on of equipment
Residual risks can be avoided by doing the following:
Vigilant working
Paying attention to all notes on the equipment and in this manual
Following the general safety stipulations / regulations

5. Installation and Commissioning

Fig.13a shown 2.5 litres model
Before installing the pump and setting it up for operation make sure it has not been damaged during transportation:
check that there are no cracks or dents on the body and that there are no traces of oil leaks. If damage is noticed, inform the carrier of the problem
immediately. DO NOT INSTALL THE PUMP. Ask the manufacturer for instructions.
Important: The manufacturer shall not be held liable for injury to people or animals or damage to property caused by installation and operation of a
damaged pump.
Treadle (PUMP side)
This chapter describes the methods of installation of the pump. The method here recommended will give excellent results.
Pump can be installed in a horizontal or vertical position.
Figure 4 on page 3 shows the drilling template to use when designing the pump baseplate.

5.1 Filling the reservoir (if the pump is supplied without oil)
Use the oil types specified in chapter 4. The use of oil with different characteristics can result in serious damage to the pump and render it unsuitable for
use.
