The replacements described below should only be performed by an "Authorised Service Centre".
Before replacing any component, you should switch off power supply from the unit by using the omnipolar switch.
A) Switch and thermostat
- remove panel
- undo the screws fastening the component
- remove the thermostat bulb by sliding it off the bulb-holder (for thermostat only)
- disconnect wires following the electrical diagram
- change the component and re-assemble everything, following the electrical diagram
- install everything back in reverse order.
B) Heating elements
- remove panel
- unscrew the flange of the heating element
- unscrew the heating unit from relevant opening and disconnect all wires, leaving the protection wire for last
- change the heating element, installing it by following the electrical diagram
- place everything back in reverse order.

USING THE POTATO HEATER HOT CONTAINER
To switch on the potato heater, turn the knob from "0" onto "1": the green
indicator light will automatically come on
to show it is working. To switch it off, just turn the knob back onto "0".

- Clean the stainless steel parts with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
- You must never clean the stainless steel with steel wool, wire brushes or common steel scrapers since they can deposit
ferrous particles that on oxidizing cause points of rust. It is possible to use stainless steel wool applied in the direction of the
satin finish.
- If the unit is not to be used for a long time, give all the steel surfaces a good wipe over with a cloth lightly soaked in Vaseline
oil in order to apply a protective film. Periodically ventilate the premises.
