C16A
The C16A is a self-centering pendulum load cell which
returns the superstructure to its stable original position
after the load application is displaced laterally, i.e. in­
clined. The maximum permissible lateral displacement or
inclination (see Chapter 11, Page 33) must not be ex­
ceeded as otherwise the load cells or load application
elements may be damaged. The simplest and most usual
solution here is to set up appropriate stops on the super­
structure (scale platform) that must be carefully set within
the values specified for the applicable maximum capa­
city.
We recommend EPO3 and C16/EPU or C16/ZOU44A
from HBM as mounting parts for the C16A, so that prob­
lem-free installation is possible. The rotation stops wel­
ded onto the load cell and the supplied dowel pin are also
specifically matched for this purpose (see Dimensions in
Chapter 11, Page 33).
