• For reasons of safety and licensing (CE), arbitrary conversion or modification of
the product is not permitted.
• Only a regular outlet (230V~/50Hz) on the public power net with protected con-
nection may be used.
• Make sure that the device is started-up properly. Observe the operating instruc-
tions in this regard.
• Make sure when setting up or assembling the product that the power cable does
not become squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
• Devices that are operated at mains voltage do not belong in the hands of children.
Exercise special care in the presence of children as they could attempt to insert
objects into openings on the housing of the device. There exists a risk of deadly
electrical shock.
• Never pour liquids or place liquid-containing objects (e.g. vases) onto electrical
devices. This poses the highest danger of fire or lethal electrical shock. However
should this happen, immediately disconnect from the power supply and consult a
specialist.
• Do not place the device under the influence of high temperatures, dripping/spray-
ing water, strong vibrations or high mechanical stresses.
• Please contact an expert in case you have any doubts about the mode of opera-
tion, the safety or connecting the device.
• Do not set sources of fire, such as candles, on the device.
• Do not leave packaging material lying carelessly about. Plastic wrapping/bags,
polystyrene parts, etc. could become a dangerous toy for children.
• Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is in operation.
• Do not use the device in tropical climates.
• Observe the safety and operating instructions of all devices connected to the
graphic equalizer.
• In commercial institutions, make sure you observe the accident prevention regula-
tions of the commercial trade organization for electric installations.

Function description

Using the 2X15 sound controller of the graphic equalizer can adjust the audio system
for a listening space or moderate weak points in the audio system.
Narrow controller distances allow for very fine-tuned sound correction that is not
available from simple sound controllers.
The device is equipped with two separate channels and can implement various sett-
tings for the right and left stereo channel or two mono channels.
The device has switchable control ranges, a bypass switch and a level controller for
volume adjustment.
A subsonic filter is built-in to prohibit low frequency disturbances.
A CLIP display warns of overdriving.

Apparition d´un • Les câbles des signaux de la source audio sont-

• Existe-t-il une boucle de masse ? - Mettre l´inter-
rupteur GROUND LIFT (13) sur « LIFT».
Apparition de • L´entrée de l´égaliseur graphique est-il surmodulé,
distorsions le DEL CLIP (7) s´allume-t-elle ? Régler de nou-
veau de potentiomètre de la source audio.
• Les régulateurs LEVEL (5) sont-ils trop hauts, la
DEL CLIP (7) s´allume-t-elle?
• L´entrée de la source audio est-elle commandée
par un signal trop grand ?
• Le potentiomètre de l´amplificateur est-il réglé
trop haut ?
Les réparations autres que celles qui ont été précédemment
décrites doivent être uniquement exécutées par un technicien
qualifié agréé.
