Heel contact and progression
feel OK but:
• Forefoot feels too rigid
• Forefoot feels too long
• Feels like walking up hill
• Reduce dorsiflexion resistance
• Check A-P shift alignment; ensure foot is not too
anteriorly positioned
• Check distribution of plantarflexion and
dorsiflexion movement;
ensure that there is sufficient dorsiflexion range
• Check the spring category is not too rigid for the
weight and activity of the patient,
if so fit lower rate spring
