ACCIDENTS
The pump does not turn.
The pump turns but doesn't supply
diesel oil.
The thermic motoprotector stops the
motor pump for overheating.
Before using the motor pump once more after a long or short inactivity period, it is advised to check whether the shaft rotates freely. Carry out
this operation inserting a screwdriver in the slot on the shaft itself (Fig. 2).
CHAP. 13 INFORMATION ABOUT NOISE
The motor pump running with liquid inside the body of
the pump doesn't exceed the value of 70 db.
CAUSES
1) Power cut off.
2) Shaft is blocked.
1) The air in the body of the pump is
not completely clean.
2) The pump takes in air from the
intake tube.
1) The feeding doesn't comply with the
data on the motor plate.
2) A solid body has blocked the
impeller.
3) The pump has worked dry or with a
closed delivery tap for over 15 min.

HELPS
1) Control the tension and that the
plug is correctly inserted.
2) Disconnect the plug: insert the
screwdriver on the motor shaft
(from the side of the vane) and
clamp by turning the screwdriver.
1) Unscrew the loading tap with
running pump and completely leak
the body of the pump. Then fix the
tap once more.
2) Control that the inlet tube is well
connected and sealed to the pump.
Check that the inlet tube is without
obstructions or siphons. Be carefull
with the max. inlet height.
1) Control the voltage in the network.
2) Remove the inlet tube and then
remove the solid body.
3) Cool the motor pump and then start
it again. Carefully check that over
that period the mechanical seal has
not been damaged.
