Trouble shooting
Electrical-diagrams, connecting diagrams and informa-
tion concerning fuses are to find after the picture pages.
There is no over current relay. The frequency converter
parameter for max. current is adjusted from the factory
and shall not be adjusted.
If a fault occurres that is impossible to
adjust according to following descriptions
a Nederman service technician must be
called.
Malfunctions
The following malfunctions can be read on the display
in the PLC and reset according to information shown on
the display:
- High fan temperature, (thermal switch tripped).
- Fault indication from the frequecy converter.
- CAS (Compressed Air Switch), monitoring of the
compressed air supply.
NOTE! Only if the accessory CAS is fitted.

High fan temperature
If the flow in the unit is very low the temperature will
increase. To protect the fan from overheating there is a
built-in system that activates when the unit has become
too hot. The protective system function is, that if the out-
going temperature exceed 125˚C, the display will show
the warning text "Fan Hi Temp" and the unit will adjust
the flow automatically to cool the fan, fig. 15. When the
temperature is normal again the unit automatically swit-
ches over to normal work position. If the temperature
has not reached the normal work temperature, Within
3 minutes the unit will stop and a fault message will
appear in the display.

Fault indication from the frequency con-
verter
When the frequency converter malfunctions the unit will
stop. The most common malfunctions is overcurrent,
undervoltage and overvoltage. When any of these faults
occur the unit will stop and the fault indication lamp
(white lamp) flashes and error messages are shown
in the PLC display. The unit can normally be restarted
once the fault indication has been acknowledged with
the OK button. If the unit cannot be restarted after ack-
nowledging as above, then there is a serious fault on
the frequency converter and a service technician should
examine the cause of the fault.

recieve sufficient compressed air the unit will stop.
Flashing fault indication (white lamp) and an error mes-
sage are shown on the PLC display. This fault indication
remains until the fault ceases (compressed air above 3
bar). The alarm must then be acknowledged using the
OK button.
