AUTO-DIST FUNCTION
The AUTO-DIST function automatically measures the distance between the
laser plane ("0" level of the receiver) and the floor.
· Press the AUTO-DIST button, the blue LED is
blinking.
· Hold the FR-DIST 30 plumb-vertical to increase the
accuracy of the distance measurement (use the circular bubble on top
of the housing as help).
· When laser beam hits the "0" level of the receiver for 1,5 sec. the
distance measurement will be taken.
· The distance measurement will be confirmed by a double beep.
· The value of the distance measurement will be shown in the display.
· The blue LED stops blinking and is lighting continuously.
To carry out another distance
measurement press the
AUTO-DIST button again.
A quick and contact-free height
control measurement can be
taken at the construction site.
Press the button "Clear OFF" to
leave the AUTO-DIST function
The AUTO-DIST function in
vertical position e.g. for fast and
safe interior alignment when
working at fixed distances -
eliminates the need for a 2nd
person holding the end of a
measuring tape.
