5.1.1 Configuration constraints
The configuration of the hydronic indoor unit
must take the following requirements into
account:
Ū if the heating element is present, the water
probe must also be present;
Ū if the heating element and also the valve are
present, the latter must be a 3-WAY valve
(NOT A 2-WAY VALVE);
on
air
Ū If the SUMMER/WINTER switchover is set to
"Auto on water temp.", the water probe must
dedicated
also be present;
Ū the heating element cannot be present in the
4-pipe units;
Ū in 4-pipe units with only one water probe, it
is not possible to set summer/winter switcho-
ver to "Auto on water temp.";
Ū summer/winter switchover can be set to "Au-
to on air temp." only if the heating element is
present or if the hydronic indoor unit has a
4-pipe configuration;
Ū If the SUMMER/WINTER switchover is set to
"Auto on water temp.", a 2-way valve cannot
be used. The water probe must be installed
at a point in the hydraulic circuit with low cir-
culation.
5.1.2 Configurable digital output
The circuit board has a digital output (indicated
with O7 in the wiring diagram) whose status can
be linked to one of the operating states of the
hydronic indoor unit given in the following list:
Ū Operating mode
Ū Cooling or heating request
Ū Cooling request
Ū Heating request
