3.To start a cold engine, move the choke lever to the CLOSED
position.
NOTE:
Do not use the choke if the engine is warm or the air temperature is
high.

4.Press the priming pump several times until a fuel flow in the fuel
return tube (clear plastic tube) is visually noticed.
