6.2 Cleaning

o Before cleaning, turn the device off with the temperature adjustment knob (set it to
an „OFF" position) and unplug the device (remove the plug!).
o Clean the body, side handles and plate of the device regularly with warm water,
a mild cleaning agent and soft cloth. Wipe dry all cleaned surfaces.
o Should there be any remains of grilled food that cannot be removed from the plate,
wet them with a sponge and heat the device for a few minutes at the highest
temperature setting. Turn the device off and remove food remains with a ceran
ceramic scraper.
o Remove the drip tray and wash it regularly with a mild cleaning agent and soft cloth.
o Use soft cloth only and make sure you never use any kind of abrasive agents or
pads, which could scratch the surface.
o After the cleaning procedure you should use a soft and dry cloth to wipe dry and
polish the surface.

6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

o Inspect the power cable regularly for damage. Never use the device if the cable is
damaged. If the power cable is damaged, have an authorised service center or
qualified electrician replace it.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre.
o Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the
device yourself.
