WARNING! HOT SURFACE!
Do not touch the hot surface of the electric hot-plate nor any cookware
with bare hands. Always use protective hands or pot holders!

If the device is no longer used, set the temperature regulator and ON/OFF knob
in „OFF" position and disconnect it from the power supply (pull the plug from the
socket!).
The device is equipped with protection against overheating. In the event of
overheating, the protection mechanism comes on and the device is turned off.
If this occurs, remove the device's plug from its socket and leave it to cool.
The device can be reconnected after it has cooled, as described above.
6. Cleaning
CAUTION!
Disconnect the unit from the power supply (unplug!) before cleaning.
The unit is not designed to be rinsed with running water.
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the device!
Be careful and do not let the water into the unit.
o Clean the electric hot-plate regularly.
o Wipe the housing of the elecdtri hot-plate and hot plates with a damp cloth.
A mild cleaning agent may be used for more stubborn dirt.
o Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or sprays.
o Do not use steel wool for cleaning. It is possible that small pieces of the wool
may come into contact with electrically charged elements of the electric hot-
plate and create a risk of electrocution.
o Never use flammable substances for cleaning (spirit, etc.) as there is an
increased risk of fire or explosion when the device is switched on again.
o After cleaning, dry and polish the surface using a soft, dry cloth.
Storage of the electric hot-plate
o If the electric hot-plate is to remain unused for a longer time, clean it thoroughly as
described above and store in a dry, clean place protected against freezing and
sunglight and unaccesible to children.
o Do not place heavy objects on the electric hot-plate.
