A000 = DMX mode
The LED spot is controlled automatically by the external DMX controller. Each DMX device in a DMX chain
requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the controller. This DMX starting
address specifies the first DMX channel to which the LED spot responds. The remaining control channels
come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address). An address in a DMX chain can only be assigned
once. Stand-alone and slave-mode are not possible if there is an external DMX signal.
So = Sound-to-light mode
In sound-to-light mode, the LED spot responds to the music signals that are detected via a microphone. The
LED spot then creates a light show in time with the music. The LED spot's internal microphone responds to
ambient sounds such as music, singing and tapping.
An external microphone cannot be connected to the XLR input.
AU = Automatic mode
The LED spot is controlled automatically by the internal controller. The LED spot functions as the master
device.
SLAVE = Operated using the controller on another LED spot in the chain.
The LED spot can be used as a device in a master-slave chain. In this setup, the integrated controller on
the master device controls the connected slave devices. Every device in the chain is assigned a function
(master/slave). Each chain only has one master device. The master device works in automatic or sound-to-
light mode and controls the slave devices synchronously.
For more information on setting up master-slave chains, please refer to chapter 11. DMX 512 connection,
b) Setting up a master-slave chain.
In a master-slave chain, only one device may be assigned as the master device. All other devices
must be set as slave devices.
