Cleaning

Within the framework of the maintenance work to be
carried out on a regular basis, you should not only
check the proper condition of the device and its as-
semblies but also carry out a comprehensive cleaning
of the device and its components.
Due to reasons of safety, the
odour neutraliser is equipped
with a micro switch in the in-
side of the device (see igure
p. 7). As soon as the device
is opened and/or the housing
removed, the device can no
longer be operated. The interior
of the device is de-energised.
Proceed as follows:
Cleaning the air filter
Loosen the screws on the housing.
Remove the cover.
Remove and clean the air filter.
Always check the air filter for correct functioning. If
it is only slightly polluted, you can clean it by tapping
out the dirt or using a vacuum cleaner.
If it is heavily polluted, use a soap solution for clean-
ing the air filter.
After cleaning, the filter may only be inserted once it
is completely dry!
Cleaning the interior
Remove the screws on the housing.
Remove the housing.
Clean the device. Only use compressed air
or a moist cloth for cleaning. Do not use any
solvent-based or aggressive cleaning agents.
Make sure to prevent water from entering
and/or remaining in the interior of the device.
Mount the housing back on correctly. Make sure that
the safety switch (1) is closed.

Cleaning the electrode
The electrode can be cleaned in its built-in state.
Check the electrode for cracks or fissures before
cleaning it. Damaged components may not be used!
Clean the assembly using a dry (lint-free) or moist
cloth. Make sure that no fibres (bits of fluff) remain on
the electrode after cleaning.
Make sure not to use the device until the electrodes
have completely dried.
If it is required to remove the electrode, please pro-
ceed as follows (see figure above):
Operating manual – AirgoPro 8 odour neutraliser
Remove any remaining dust or other built-up
of deposits, especially in the spaces between
the electrodes.
Remove the fixing screws (2).
Remove the electrode (3) by slightly pulling
it out.
Clean the electrode as described above.
Insert the electrode back into place after
cleaning.
Caution!
Damage to the device due to
missing electrode!
Only operate the odour neu-
traliser with an inserted elec-
trode.
