9. Installation and commissioning

The following requirements must be met when in-
stalling the odour neutraliser:
Only use the odour neutraliser according
to the parameters provided in the chapter
"Technical data".
Make sure that the air inlet and air outlet are
not covered.
If possible, position the device in the centre
of the room in order to ensure an optimum
air circulation.
Do not install the device near inflammable
substances or gases.
Make sure that the device is placed on a dry
and non-vibrating surface.
Make sure that the device is protected
against splash water.
The room temperature should be approx. 5 °C
above the normal room temperature.

Switching the device on/off

Switch the odour neutraliser on by setting the timer
to a desired time and pressing the green button of the
power switch (1). The control indicator (2) lights up.
The timer starts flashing.
The device will immediately start producing singlet
oxygen after being switched on.

Switch the device off by pressing the red button ("0")
at the power switch (1). The control indicator (2) goes
out.

Reading off the operating hours

The odour neutraliser is equipped with an operating
hours counter located on the back of the device (fig.
p. 3. (2). The total operating time can be read off here.
This data can be used for determining the mainte-
nance intervals.

Adjusting the cleaning intensity

You are able to adjust the intensity of the odour neu-
tralisation and/or ionisation according to the specific
conditions. You can choose between 5 levels.
You can carry out these adjustments using the inten-
sity level adjuster (3). Turn the turn-switch to the cor-
responding position.
The adjustment can be made during ongoing opera-
tion.

Setting the ventilation level

Apart from the cleaning intensity, the ventilation level
must also be preset. This is done by adjusting the
speed of the integrated fan.
You can choose between 3 levels that are to be set
at the fan adjuster (4). The higher the set level, the
higher the cleaning intensity will be. For more infor-
mation on the selection and/or combination of the
cleaning intensity and ventilation level, please refer to
the chapter "Operating parameters".
The adjustment can be made during ongoing opera-
tion.
