The letter "U" in the certification
number means that this
component certificate may only
be used as a basis for the
certification of apparatus or protective
systems.
The LED module does not affect the
temperature class T4 of light fitting type
eLL. 92.
The LED module shall be used for the
intended purpose and shall be in a perfect
and clean state.
Modifications to the LED module or
design changes are not permitted.
Prior to being put into operation, the LED
module shall be checked in accordance
with the instructions given in section 6.
The national safety rules and regulations
for the prevention of accidents, as well as
the safety instructions included in these
operating instructions, that, like this text,
are set in italics, shall be observed.

Conformity with standards
The LED module have been designed,
manufactured and tested according to the
state of the art and to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008
and IEC 80079-34:2011.
It is conform to the standards specified in the
EC-Declaration of conformity, enclosed
separately.
The apparatus also fulfil further requirements
such as those of:
- 2004/108/EC
"The directive on electromagnetic compatibility",
- 94/9 EC
"Equipment and protective systems intended
for use in potentially explosive atmospheres".

Field of application
The LED module is intended for
installation in the light fitting type
eLL. 92 18/18 and
eLL. 92 36/36 with an
EVG 09 built in or after 2011.
The field of application in hazardous areas as
stated on the type label of the light fitting is
not restricted by the instalattion of the LED
module.
The enclosure materials used, including any
external metal parts, are high quality
materials which ensure a corrosion protection
and resistance to chemical substances
corresponding to the requirements in a
"normal industrial atmosphere".

Application / Properties
The LED module is intended for installation in
an eLL. 92 light fitting, whereby the following
allocation applies:
- eLL. 92 2x18 W with EVG 09 suitable for
LED module 400
- eLL. 92 2x36 W with EVG 09 suitable for
LED module 800.
The contacts are placed on the front side of
the LED module, can snapped-in at the
G13-holders of the eLL. 92.
Those EVG09 builted-in inside the light fitting
ell.92 can use as power supply, without
further modifications.
The beam of light is transmitted to the exterior
via the reflector mounted under the LEDs.
The data as per point 3 and 4 shall be
taken into account with the use.
Applications other than described are not
permitted without Cooper Crouse-Hinds's
prior written consent.
For the operation, the instructions stated
in section 7 of the operating instructions
shall be observed.
The user alone is responsible for the
appropriate use of this LED module.
