Changing the cutter
Use only properly sharpened cutters!
Use only cutters for manual feed!
1. Withdraw power plug
2. Release the 4 screws in the baseplate with the tools supplied
3. Remove baseplate. Milling lever and locking latch are then in the initial position
4. Lock spindle, at same time release flange nut with face spanner
5. Insert new cutter, note direction of rotation. Ensure clean supporting surface
6. Screw up flange nut tightly with face spanner
7. Ensure that milling lever and locking latch are still at the initial position (see 3)
8. Fit baseplate
9. Re-tighten the 4 screws with the tools supplied
10. Check milling depth, adjust if necessary by turning the knurled nut on the depth adjuster
Maintenance
- Blow out motor frequently.
- Clean guides and lubricate slightly.
Repairs
Repairs to electrical tools must be carried out by qualified electricians only.
Carbon brushes
The motor is fitted with self-tripping carbon brushes. When these are worn out the motor stops. Only original brushes
should be used as spares (Lamello part no. 316006). Always change carbon brushes in pairs!
Guarantee
The guarantee is for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, during which time all faults due to bad work-
manship or defects in materials will be rectified free of charge. Damage due to the application of excessive force,
incorrect use or normal wear and tear is not covered by the guarantee.
