GAS TYPES
The gases used for the operation of
cooking appliances may be grouped by
their characteristics into two types:
- Liquefied gases: Butane Gas (G30)
and Propane Gas (G31)
- Natural Gas (G20/G25)
The fitting (fig. 8.2) is made up of:
– 1 Conical connector "B"

Make sure that the appliance is adjusted
for the type of gas with which it will be
supplied (see label).
The gas supply circuit must conform
to the local standards in force.
Connection to the gas supply
The connection must be made accord-
ing to standard NBN D 51-003 with rigid
pipe or according to specifications
A.R.G.B./03 with flexible hose.
The appliance must be fitted with an
approved AGB stopcock.
Caution: If using a stainless steel flexi-
ble hose, install it so that it does not
come into contact with any movable part
of the unit.
Lead it to a place with easy access so
that you can check its full length.
IMPORTANT:
To replace the elbow it is necessary to
operate with 2 spanners (fig. 8.3).
After connecting to the mains, check
that the couplings are correctly
sealed, using soapy solution, but
never a naked flame.
