If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the same type and rated current (see "Technical data").
Do not repair fuses or bridge the fuse holders.

After disconnecting the power source (by disconnecting the car power supply!), remove the FUSE (12) fuses out
of the fuse holders carefully.
•
Replace them by fuses of the same type.
•
Only then the amplifier should be re-connected to the car system and put into operation.
14. Troubleshooting
By purchasing the CRUNCH Fat Boy Power Package, you have acquired a product which has been designed to the
state of the art standards and is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur. Therefore, we
would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Please observe the safety instructions!
No function, the indicator POWER (11) does not light up:
•
The GND (15) connection of the connection terminal of the power supply is not connected to the car body.
•
The REM (14) connection of the connection terminal of the power supply is not connected to the aerial control
output of the car radio.
•
The connection +12V (13) of the connecting terminal for the power supply is not supplied with +12V.
•
The FUSE (12) of the amplifier or the fuse in the positive line is defect.
The indicator POWER (11) lights, but there is no sound:
•
The volume control unit of the car radio is set to minimum.
•
The INPUT LEVEL (7) controls of the amplifier are set to minimum.
•
The loudspeakers are not properly connected.
The indicator POWER (11) lights, but there is no sound:
•
The short-circuit protection of the amplifier has been triggered due to a short circuit at the loudspeaker output.
•
The temperature protection of the amplifier has been triggered due to overheating. Allow the device to cool down.
