4.2.2 - INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
The equipment are optimized from factory, therefore only it is necessary to connect the output signal to the
equipment input or inputs and the transmiter antenna to the output.
Once switch-ON the unit, verify the following:
• Emission LED's (3 and 10) go ON.
• Reflected power LED (11) does not blink.
• Output level in test points (12) is according to the level set at factory.and recorded in the test memo sheet.
• The input level has to be between -60 dBm to -27 dBm (50 to 78 dBmv) as indicated in technical specifications.
5 - FINAL CHECKING
Before plugging in to the mains, connect the antenna cable and input a signal level between -27 dBm and -60 dBm (50
to 78 dBuV).

Verify that the connection between output connector of the equipment and the transmitter antenna cable is correct.

Check that connection between equipment and receiving antenna is correct (input level between -60 dBm and -27 dBm).

Plug the mains cord to the PSU.
4 -
Power-ON the equipment by pressing the corresponding green pushbutton situated on the front panel of the PSU.
In this point check:
4.1 - All ON-OFF LED's glow.
4.2 - Basic Unit and Power Amplifiers emission LED's are glowing.
4.3 - Basic Unit and Power Amplifiers red LED's are OFF. Blinking LED's will indicate that there is inacceptable reflected power.
