1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Used for local coverage features, low output power for avoiding contamination and saturation of the broadcasting
spectrum owing to its very low spurious emission.
Broadband technology design, it uses synthezised converters for agile on site channel selection by using basic test
equipment. Its low power consumption allows to set up solar panel powering installation.
Microprocessor controlled, high realiability and ease of installation and maintenance due to the integration of the
RF/IF/RF conversion into a single module.
Ease of channel multiplexing, performed by means of an output filters star connection.
2 - OPERATION
2.1 - CHANNEL TUNING
Input-output channel frequency selection is made by means of three rotary switches situated in the front panel of
the basic unit processor.
2.2 - CONTROL SYSTEM
A microprocessor controls the general status of the equipment, allowing the following operations:
• Channel tuning.
• AGC voltage generation.
• Input level detection.
• Manual CMG.
It is also included a directional coupler to obtain all AGC, direct power and reflected power voltages.
2.3 - POWERING
The whole triplexed assembly is powered using a switched mode power supply housed into a separate module.
2.4 - MECHANICAL
The whole triplexed assembly is powered using a switched mode power supply housed into a separate module.
3 - ADVANTAGES
