16. Cleaning

Before cleaning, pull the plug out of the mains socket. Clean the outside of the
record player with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid the use of chemical solutions and
cleaning products because these may damage the device surface or markings.

Under no circumstances permit liquid to penetrate the record player. Always
keep the cover hood closed – except when inserting or removing a record, etc.
•
If dust has collected on the pick-up cartridge, remove it using a suitable brush
or paintbrush. Cleaning brushes and cleaning cloths for records are available in
specialist retail shops.
ATTENTION!
Never clean records and the pick-up cartridge with nor-
mal cleaning cloths or unsuitable cleaning agents.
17. Disposal
Packaging
Your device has been packaged to protect it against transportation
damage. Packaging materials are primary products and can therefore be
reused or recycled.
Device
Do not dispose of the device in the household rubbish at the end of its
service life. Ask your local authority about suitable environmentally
friendly disposal facilities.
Batteries
Do not dispose of used batteries in household rubbish. Batteries should
be deposited in an environmentally responsible manner at a collection
point for used batteries.
