1 Safety Notes
This unit uses lethally high voltage (230 V~). To
prevent a shock hazard do not open the housing.
Servicing should be done by authorized skilled
personnel only.
For the operation also watch in any case the follow-
ing items:
•
The unit is only suitable for the use in rooms.
•
Avoid excessively warm locations for the unit or
extra high humidity.
•
For cleaning use a dry cloth for dust removing,
by no means chemicals or water.
•
Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and yel-
low.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured red.
Warning - This appliance must be earthed.
2 Operating Elements and
Connections
2.1 Front panel
1 Peak LED (overload indication of the micro-
phone input)
2 Peak LED (overload indication of the line input)
3 Display for the programme number
4 LED to indicate if the momentary effect is in
accordance with the display (3). If a programme
number is selected with the buttons (12), the
LED is blinking. After pushing the ENTER but-

ton (13) to activate the selected programme, the
LED lights continuously again.
5 VU meter LEDs for the mixed signal of MIC and
LINE and for the output control of the effect pro-
cessor
6 LED: Effect signal inverted (180° phase rever-
sal)
7 VU meter LEDs for the output level
8 Effect ON/OFF LED
9 Power LED
10 Microphone input (mono balanced, also to be
used for an unbalanced microphone), switches
off the parallel MIC input (30) at the rear panel.
11 Stereo line input, switches off the parallel line
input (29) at the rear panel.
12 Buttons to select the programme number
13 ENTER button to activate the selected pro-
gramme
14 Level control for the microphone input
15 Level control for the line input
16 Button to invert the effect signal (180° phase
reversal)
17 Balance control for effect signal/direct signal:
left stop = direct signal only
right stop = effect signal only

put jack (20) at the front panel.
29 Stereo line input, is switched off with the
connection of the parallel line input (11) at the
front panel.
30 Microphone input (mono balanced, also to be
used for an unbalanced microphone), it is
switched off with the connection of the parallel
MIC input (10) at the front panel.
