OPERATION
NOTE: Use only RIDGID 18V Battery
Pack(s). The HD0918 will operate with
the batteries listed in the "Battery Pack(s)
Installation" section.
NOTE: Your Wet/Dry Vac will operate
on one or two batteries. Two batteries
are recommended for extended run time
and operation. For best performance,
install two Fully-Charged Battery Pack(s)
before beginning operation.
recommended Battery Capacity is 4.0Ah
per Battery Pack.
- Make sure Vac is turned OFF (0).
- Insert battery pack(s), as shown.
- Make sure the latches on each battery
pack snap into place and the battery
pack is secure before beginning
operation.
- Depress the latches to remove the
battery pack.
Familiarize yourself with the accessories
included with the Vac. Each accessory
may be used in various ways for
vacuuming and blowing debris. Here is
a list of the accessories and their uses.
After you install the battery pack(s), turn
the Vac "ON" by pressing in on the "I" on
the Power Switch. To turn "OFF" press the
"O" of the Power Switch Actuator.

Vacuuming Dry Materials

1. The Filter must always be correctly
installed to avoid leaks and possible
Vac damage.
2. To maintain peak performance when
vacuuming fine dust, clean the Drum
and Filter regularly.
NOTE:
picking up dry material. The Filter will
quickly clog and be difficult to clean.
3. If the Filter is wet, you must allow it to
dry completely or replace it with a dry
Filter before using the Vac to pick up
dry material.
4. For

with a Fine Dust Filter to extend the
Cartridge Filter's life.
