Although the PizzaRaclette6 features high quality and safety standards, injuries or damage due to operating errors
or improper use cannot be ruled out. Please note the safety recommendations marked by the following symbols:

High temperatures can occur during use. Use heat-protected gloves. Do not transport the appliance
as long as it is still hot.

General safety recommendations

• Please read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
• Include these operating instructions with the appliance if it is passed on to other people.
• Use the appliance only for domestic use and only for the intended purpose.
• Start by verifying that the type of current and supply voltage is as specified on the rating plate.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not operate this appliance using an external timer or a separate remote control.

Initial operation

Danger!
Electric current! Any handling of the PizzaRaclette6 beyond normal operation may be done only when
the appliance is not plugged in. Be sure to unplug the plug from the socket first. Danger of electric shock!
Danger!
Check the power cord for damage prior to each use. A damaged power cord is extremely dangerous
and must be replaced immediately! This may be done only by the manufacturer or authorised specialists.
The appliance may be plugged into a grounded socket only. The ground protection may not be eliminated
by an ungrounded extension cord.

Observe the information in Chapter 5.1 describing where to set up the appliance. Failure to comply with
this information can result in fire damage to buildings or property as well as burns.
Danger!
Do not immerse the PizzaRaclette6 or the power cord in water and never spray water directly onto them.
There is a danger of electric shock.
