ADDING BAR AND CHAIN OIL: INITIAL USE
This unit comes from the factory with the chain oil reservoir empty. Fill the chain oil reservoir with bar
and chain oil before starting or using the unit. Refer to Adding Bar and Chain Oil instructions in the
Maintenance section.
ADJUSTING THE CHAIN TENSION: INITIAL USE
The saw chain must be properly tensioned before attempting to start or operate the unit. The saw
chain may also require additional tensioning as the saw chain heats up during operation. Refer to
Adjusting the Chain Tension instructions in the Maintenance section.
