Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a sta-
tion.
Automatic station seek tuning

station.
Notes:

If the priority for traffi c information is
activated, the next traffi c information
station is selected.

If PTY is activated, the next station
of the selected programme type is
selected.
Setting the sensitivity of station seek
tuning
You can select whether only strong stations
should be tuned into with low sensitivity or
also weak stations with high sensitivity:

"LO" (low sensitivity) or "DX" (high sen-
sitivity) appear on the display 6.

Browsing through broadcasting
networks (FM only)
If a radio station provides several pro-
grammes, you have the option of browsing
through its so-called "broadcasting net-
work".

to the next station on the broadcasting
network.
Note:
Scrolling through broadcasting net-
works is possible only if the RDS func-
tion is switched on and PTY is switched
off. When using this feature, you will
only be able to switch to stations that
you have received once before already.
You can use the Travelstore function (T-
STORE) for this purpose.
Storing stations
Storing stations manually

Select the desired memory bank or
waveband.

Tune into the station.
u
Press and hold the station button 1 - 6
< for longer than 2 seconds to assign
the station to that button.
The confi rmation beep sounds. The station
is stored on the selected station button.
