by the professional associations are to be strictly enforced at
all times.

1.0 Introduction

You have purchased a high quality measurement instrument of
Ch. BEHA GmbH wich will allow you to carryout measurement
over a long time period. The company Ch. BEHA GmbH is a
member of the world-wide operating BEHA Group with its head
office in Glottertal/Schwarzwald wich also houses our developement
centre. The BEHA Group is a leading organisation for Test Measure-
ment Instruments.
The UNITEST ISO-Compact is a very compact and handy mea-
surement instrument for testing the insulation resistance in accor-
dance with DIN VDE 0413, Part 1.
Additionally, the ISO-Compact is equipped with a voltage measu-
rement facility for DC and AC voltages up to 700 V, including
phase test feature.
This instrument has been designed, built and tested according to
the valid safety regulations and is supplied in perfect and safe
condition.
The ISO-Compact has the following characteristics:
• Insulation resistance measurements DIN VDE 0413, part 1
• 2 measurement ranges 0...20 MV, 0...200 MV
• DC and AC voltage measurement up to 700 V
• Single-pole phase test
• Automatic switching on for voltage measurement as from 20 V
approx.

Transport and Storage
Please keep the original packaging for later transport, e.g. for cali-
bration. Any transport damage due to faulty packaging will be ex-
cluded from warranty claims.
In order to avoid instrument damage, it is advised to remove
accumulators when not using the instrument over a certain time
period. However, should the instrument be contaminated by leaking
battery cells, you are kindly requested to return it to the factory for
cleaning and inspection.
