Possible causes
The power cord is not
plugged in correctly.
A fuse has blown or is
faulty.
The electrical outlet is
defective.
The thermostat is set to
too cold a temperature or
is turned to Max.
The thermostat is not
set to a suitable position.
The freezer door has
been left open for a long
period of time.
A large quantity of hot
items has been placed in
the freezer during the last
24 hours.
The unit is installed near
a heat source.
Plug the power cord in correctly.
Check the fuse and replace it if
necessary.
Have a qualified electrician
repair any problems related to
electrical circuits.
Temporarily select a setting that
is not as cold.
Review the chapter on setting
the thermostat.
Avoid leaving the door open for
longer than necessary.
Temporarily select a colder
setting for the thermostat. In
addition, hot food must not be
placed in the freezer: food must
be at room temperature before
being placed in the freezer.
