SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
10. Do not stick fingers or other objects through the openings in the fan-
heater. This may cause a fire, an electric shock, injury or damage to
the fan-heater. Do not block any of the openings and do not fiddle or
mess about with the fan-heater while it is operating. Do never cover
the heater!
11. To prevent fire, the air inlet and outlet grills must not be blocked in
any way. Never place the fan-heater on a non-solid base, such as a
mattress, in case blockages occur.
12. Always place the fan-heater on a stable, flat, horizontal base so that
it cannot topple over. Do not allow the fan-heater or any other object
to sit on the power cable. Do not run the cable under carpets or
mats, do not cover the cable or leave it trailing where people walk or
place it anywhere it can become trapped.
13. This fan-heater becomes hot when operating. To prevent burns, do
not allow the bare skin to come into contact with any hot surfaces.
Always use the bracket/handle to move the fan-heater. keep
flammable materials, such as furniture, cardboard, paper clothes and
curtains at least one metre from the front and 30 cm from the sides
and rear of the fan-heater.
14. The fan-heater has internal components that become red-hot. The
fan-heater must not be used in spaces where this might lead to
danger, such as areas used for storing highly inflammable, explosive
or chemical substances, or in a humid environment.
15. This fan-heater is intended solely for general use.
16. In principle this fan-heater is suitable for use in damp areas. Never
place the fan-heater nearby a bathtub or any other type of water
container into which it might fall. Also make sure that it cannot come
into contact with jets of water, splashes, etc.
17. Do not use the fan-heater outside.
SIMPLY SWITCHING OFF THE FAN-HEATER
IS NOT SUFFICIENT WHEN YOU WANT TO CLEAN OR MOVE THE
ALWAYS REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SOCKET!
