or knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or have received
instruction from this person as to how the device is
used.
u)
Always connect accessories or devices for dust
extraction.
v)
Always use the workpiece holders. This increases
safety and makes it possible to grasp the device with
both hands.
w)
Keep the device knives clean and take care so that
they will always be sharp. Use only sharp knives.
x)
Do not use any accessories that have not been
recommended or predicted by the manufacturer.
y)
After switching off the machine the knives rotate
by the force of inertia. Wait for the blades to stop
before putting the device down.
z)
Hold the device through insulated handles, taking
particular care in order not to cut the power cord
or other live wires. Cutting the cord may cause an
electric shock.
4. Use guidelines
Electric planer is designed for planning, rabbeting and
chamfering of elements made of wood or wood-based
materials
The user is liable for any damage resulting from non-
intended use of the device!

4.2 Preparing for use

Before use, check whether the type of current and the
mains voltage correspond to the data indicated on the
nameplate!
During use, keep in mind so that the network plug can
be accessed at any time.
Locking of the switch / turning on the device.
The device is equipped with a switch lock. As long as the
safety lock button is not pressed, the device cannot be
started. In order to turn on the device, it is necessary to press
and hold the switch lock button and then to press the device
switch. The device will operate as long as the switch is held.
In order to turn it off, release the device switch. The switch
will be blocked again until its lock is pressed and held down.
Dust bag
In order to increase the safety and comfort of use, it is
necessary to mount a dust bag to the device.
In order to do this, it is necessary to slide the bag connection
into the dust outlet in the device.

4.3 Device use

NOTE! The device must be switched on and the full rotational
speed must be reached before the knives come into contact
with the workpiece.
NOTE! After finishing the operation with the device, it is
necessary to turn it off, to disconnect it from the power
supply and to clean it.
Setting the depth of cutting
The depth of cut can be adjusted between 0 and 3 mm by
turning the depth of cut adjustment knob to the left or to the
right. After the end of machining, it is necessary to maximally
reduce the depth of cutting in order to better protect the
knives from damage.
Planning / machining of flat surfaces.
a)
Set the desired depth of cutting.
b)
Connect the device to the power supply.
c)
Lean the front base plate against the workpiece.
d)
Turn on the device.
e)
By holding the device in both hands move it
over
the
surface
designated
for
machining.
Both back and front base plates should come into
contact with the material in the course of machining.
f)
In order to conduct machining that finishes the
surface, it is necessary set the very small depth of
cutting and to perform the machining as long as
necessary
Chamfering of edges (45 °)
Rev. 11.06.2018
In order to chamfer edges at a 45 ° angle, it is necessary
to use the V-shaped groove located in the machine base.
a)
Set the desired depth of machining / planning and
connect the device to the power supply.
b)
Lean the device by means of the V-shaped groove
located in the front base plate against the edge of
the workpiece. The base of the device should be at
an angle of 45 ° in respect of the adjacent walls of
the workpiece.
c)
Turn on the device.
d)
By holding the device in both hands move it on
the edge designated for machining. Both back and
front base plates should come into contact with the
material in the course of machining.
e)
In order to conduct machining that finishes the surface,
it is necessary set the very small depth of cutting
and to perform the machining as long as necessary.
To finish the surface finishing process, set the
machining / cutting depth to a very low depth and
process as long as necessary.
Parallel guide
In case of need to plan / machine flat surfaces parallel to
the material edge, it is necessary to install a guide.
This must be done in the following way:
a)
Slide the guide bracket into the handles on the left
side of the device and screw in the clamping screw
into the hole in order to secure the connection.
b)
Mount the parallel guide on the bracket and secure
the connection with the clamping screw (do not
overtighten it yet).
c)
Adjust the slide of the guide to the desired width.
d)
Tighten the clamping screw.
Rabbeting
In order to perform rabbeting (making the step on the
edge of the workpiece) it is necessary to:
a)
Install the parallel guide on the left side of the device
b)
Slide the rabbeting depth limiter into the handles on
the right side of the device and secure the connection
with the clamping screw (do not overtighten it yet).
c)
Set the rabbeting depth limiter to the desired depth
and then tighten the clamping screw.
Depth of rabbeting
It is recommended that the depth of the rabbeting will not
be greater than 2mm. The next layers must be cut using the
planning method (without the limiter
The width of rabbeting
The width of rabbeting can be set using the parallel guide.
NOTE! Make sure the plug is disconnected from the socket
before attempting any adjustments, tool replacements
or before putting the device aside. Such precautions will
reduce the risk of accidentally activating the device.
Replacement of knives
The device is equipped with two double-sided knives which
can be reversed if necessary
so that the side of the knife unused until now could replace
the old one.
The groove guiding the knife provides the possibility of
replacing the knife so that the machining depth will remain
the same regardless of the knife side.
Rev. 11.06.2018
Worn, blunt or damaged knives must be replaced!
Knives may not be sharpened, they must always be
replaced with new ones!
NOTE! The height of the knife protrusion can be adjusted
and improper conducting of adjustment may result in
the destruction of the knife, device or even an accident
threatening health or life. If the knife is protruded too far it
can touch another device element.

a)
Loosen the three hexagon bolts (1).
b)
Push the knife aside by means of a piece of wood (do
not touch the knife with your hands).
c)
Press the plastic shield on the right side of the device
so that the spring that holds it in place will bend and
the shield will enable to pull out the knife.
d)
Clean the knife before re-inserting it.
e)
Reverse the knife to the unused side or use a new
knife
f)
Insert and fasten the knife following in reverse order
to the actions performed in order to dismantle it.
NOTE! After each intervention in the knife position
or its replacement, it is necessary check whether the
drum with the knives rotates freely around its axis
and knives do not touch other parts of the device.
Make sure that the knife surface is evenly aligned
with both ends of the knife holder.
Always replace both knives at the same time in order
to ensure correct machining.
Before each use, it is necessary to check whether the
blades are installed correctly and stably.
Adjusting the knife protrusion
The knife protrusion can be adjusted by means of two
screws (2) of Allen type. By screwing the screw in, the
blade slides out. By unscrewing the screw, the blade slides
in deeper. The knife height adjustment must be done by
previous loosening three screws (1) which hold the knife
in the holder.
NOTE! After each intervention in the knife position or its
replacement, it is necessary check whether the drum with
the knives rotates freely around its axis and knives do not
touch other parts of the device.
Carbon brushes
In case of excessive sparking, it is necessary to check
whether the carbon brushes are in good condition and
replace them if necessary.
Replacement of carbon brushes may only be made by
a qualified electrician or the manufacturer's service.
Replacement of the drive belt
a)
Unscrew the drive belt cover screws.
b)
Remove the drive belt cover.
c)
Remove the drive belt from the wheels by turning
them and simultaneously pulling the belt.
