3.4 InTouch
The cooker hood features the InTouch function. If you
have a Novy induction plate with InTouch, you can op-
erate the hood from the plate.
Programming InTouch on the induction plate
The remote control must first work with the hood. If
necessary, the remote control code can be changed,
as described in Section 3.3.
Connect the plate to the mains supply.
1. Touch the keys
and
duction plate until you hear a beep.
• The hob will now search automatically for the hood
code.
• WAIT until the hood lights flash, OR until you hear
8 clicks from the hood. (Be patient, this can take a
while)
2. Then touch any InTouch key
the induction plate until you hear a beep. This is the
confirmation of the pairing of both devices.
Now you can operate the hood with the keys on the
induction plate.

Grease filter indication
Indication: 4 flashing indicator lamps
After 20 cooking hours, the 4 indicator lamps will start
to blink during 5 minutes, this indicates that the grease
filter has to be cleaned.
Access to the filter
Take hold of the right and left side of the plate (A) and
pull down simultaneously. Remove the filter (B) by tak-
ing hold of its hook and pulling down.
Cleaning grease filters
The grease filter can be cleaned as follows:
• Manually: Immerse the filter in a solution of boiling
water to which a degreasing detergent has been
added. Then rinse the filters with warm water under
a tap and allow them to dry.
• In a dishwasher: use the lowest temperature and the
shortest programme. The filter can discolour some-
what in a dishwasher. This has no influence on the
working of the filter.
The previous instructions need to be followed. If
not an increased fire hazard may occur.
Reset grease filter indication
When replacing the cleaned filter, you have to reset the
hood by pushing the – button during 5 seconds. If you
don't reset, the indicator lamps will continu blinking.
We advise you to clean your filter twice a month for an
optimal operation.
