GENERAL DRIVING TIPS:
• A lways maintain visual contact with the vehicle and do not look at the remote control!
• o n initial driving attempts, there is a general tendency toward excessive movements of the controls. Make sure that you have
sufficient room.
• P rotect the motor and the control electronics against overload and discontinue use if you have crashed or the drive train runs
sluggishly or is blocked in another manner.
• W e recommend limiting the speed at first once you have become accustomed to the vehicle and feel comfortable you can
increase the speed.
After a crash, immediately release the throttle lever in order to prevent damage to the electronics.
THE SuITABLE DRIVING ENVIRONMENT:
The location in which the vehicle is driven should fulfill the following criteria:
1. It should be a location in which there is as much open area as possible, without disruptive obstacles.
2. Make absolutely sure when starting that there are no people or animals in the immediate vicinity.
3. Always watch the vehicle so that it does not drive into the operator, other people or animals and injuries them.
PINIONS
The MoNSTER TRUCK "BURST" is supplied with a 12-tooth motor
pinion. To obtain higher top speeds you can install a larger pinion
gear onto the motor. This will, however, decrease your accelerati-
on and run time. TIP: Smaller pinion equals more torque, less top
speed. Larger pinion equals more top speed, less torque.
CaMBer
2˚ NEGATIVE CAMBER
Camber refers to the angle at which the tire and wheel ride
in relation to the ground when viewed from the front or rear.
Negative camber is when the wheels lean inward and positive
camber is when the wheels lean outward. Usually adding a small
amount of negative camber (0° to -2°) will increase traction.
However, adding too much camber will decrease traction. The
objective is to keep as much of the tire as possible in contact
with the running surface. Never put in positive camber. Make
sure that both sides are equal.

ADJUST LENGTH TO
CHANGE THE CAMBER
VehICle heIghT
The vehicle height can be changed with the accompanying
shock absorber clips. The vehicle can ride lower on smooth
surfaces, whereas more ground clearance is generally necessary
on uneven surfaces.

SHOCK SPRINGS

For low traction or bumpy surfaces, a softer spring should be
used. For high traction or smooth surfaces, a firmer spring should
be used.
ShOCk OIl
The MoNSTER TRUCK "BURST" is supplied with a 30wt (350cps)
silicone shock absorber oil. If you use a more viscous oil, the
shock travel is slower and at the same time the lateral grip is
reduced, in which case the vehicle has a tendency to tip over
more easily when taking fast turns.
