6 Fitting
Fitting mechanical components
The unit is mounted on front panels, front doors, or on the side areas of the
cabinet.
6.1 Mounting on front panels, front doors, or on the side areas of the cabinet
1. Prepare a square cut−out on the surface. Install dimensions front frame
92 x 92 mm³, front panel thickness max. 13 mm.
2. Place the FSS−F−12 (Fig. 9) front frame in the prepared front panel cut−out, from
the outside.
3. Introduce the device into the front frame from the inside. The clamping jaws of
the front frame 2 must be pushed into the upper and lower device guides 3.
The two opposite projections on the inner flanks of the front frame 1 must
engage in the provided cut−outs of the device 4.
4. Prevent unauthorized activation with the lockable FSS−K−12−C protective cap
(Fig. 10). Use of the protective cap is mandatory for protection class IP54.
