5. Assembly
5.1 Information
a) You will need the following additional tools for the
installation:
1 adjustable wrench
1 pair of pliers
1 Phillips screwdriver
b) Do not tighten the screw connections until all the
individual parts have been fully assembled.
5.2 Assembly procedure
Notes
The item numbers in the text refer to the item
numbers in section 4.
Remove the protective foil before assembly. Use
a knife to carefully cut the foil where the cover
and case meet and remove the foil.
1. Place the holders (7) on the foot (8) and secure
them firmly with 6 x hex screws (12), washers
(18) and three hex nuts (15). (Detail in Fig. A)
2. Place the column (4) in the washer (5), push the
rubber bush (22) over it and secure it with 3 x
pan head screws (10), washers (19) and 3 x hex
nuts (16). (Detail in Fig. B)
3. The foot console (9) is welded to the foot (8). Fit
the washers (20) and wheels (23) to the foot
console (9) and secure the wheels with the
locking washers (24).
4. Place the assembled washer (5) and column (4)
on the holders (7), fit the washer 2 (27) from
underneath to hold them and secure them firmly
with 3 x hex screws (28), washers (18) and 3 x
hex nuts (15). (Detail in Fig. C)
5. Slide the case with cover (6) over the column (4)

6. Feed the hose through the column (4) and

secure the complete burner to the top of the

column (4) using 3 x hex screws (13) and the

corresponding washers (19). (Detail in Fig. D)

7. Secure the reflector (1) to the burner (2) with 3 x
3
hex Allen screws (13) and corresponding
washers (19). (Detail in Fig. E)
8. Fit the edge protector tapes to the handle
openings in the case.
9. Connect to gas cylinder as described in section
7.
6. Safety information
The device must be installed and the liquid gas
cylinder stored in accordance with the current
regulations.
Do not move the device when it is operating.
Before moving the device, close the valve on the
liquid gas cylinder or the pressure regulator.
The hose lines must be replaced within the
specified periods.
Use only the gas types and liquid gas cylinders
specified by the manufacturer.
Special care must be taken in strong wind to
ensure that the device does not fall over.
6.1 Additional safety information
The liquid gas cylinder is to be changed in a well
ventilated area away from naked flames
(candles, cigarettes or other devices with a
naked flame, etc.)
Check that the seal on the pressure regulator is
fitted correctly and that it can perform its function.
Do not cover the ventilation openings in the
setting chamber for the liquid gas cylinder
Close the valve on the liquid gas cylinder or the
pressure regulator after use.
Do not use the device if gas is leaking or, if it is
already in use, the gas supply must be shut off
and the device must be inspected and repaired
before it can be used again
Check the hose lines (gas hose) at least once
per month and every time you change the liquid
