Mouthpieces may be unsuitable for persons who wear full den-
tures
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, holding it in place with
your teeth, and close your lips around it.
Close the parts of the plastic case and secure them with ad-
hesive tape and a new seal.
Leave the contaminated area immediately.
Do not speak while wearing the Dräger PARAT 3200.
If you speak, you will breathe in contaminated air. Failure to
heed this warning may result in death or serious physical injury.
Maintenance
Maintenance may only be carried out by duly trained specialist
personnel. The apparatus must undergo maintenance as de-
scribed below every four years or if opened in error:
Remove the used filter.
If necessary, clean the mask or mouthpiece with warm soapy
water or with Sekusept Cleaner (order no. 79 04 071). Rinse
thoroughly under running water.
Disinfect the mask or mouthpiece, e.g. with Incidur
(order no. 79 04 072). Too strong a concentration or too long
a contact time can cause damage to the escape filter. Then
rinse with clean water and dry the mask.

Take the replacement filter from its factory package and at-
tach it to the mask or mouthpiece so that the storage expiry
date is visible through the package.
