5.6.2 Deleting recordings

If DELETE ONE is selected and confirmed with the
button
, the display changes to the overview of the
recordings. Then it is possible to delete individual
recordings, as described in chapter 5.5.
For deleting all recordings from the memory card,
select DELETE ALL and confirm with the button
Then the following safety request appears:

firm with the button

5.6.3 Adjusting date and time

Adjust the present values with the buttons
(8). The option DISPLAY indicates whether date and
time are to be shown on the display (ON) or not (OFF).
In addition, this adjustment determines if the time of
recording will be memorized as a text in the individual
pictures of the function "Capture".

5.6.4 Signal sound

This adjustment switches the acoustic signal ON or
OFF for remote release of the function "Capture" and
for the automatic recording in case of motion detection
(⇒ Chapter 5.6.5). All other signal sounds are not
affected by this adjustment.

5.6.5 Automatic recording in case of movement

If this function is switched ON, a video sequence of a
few seconds is automatically recorded when a move-
ment is recognized in the camera picture. Then a sig-
nal sounds if "BEEP" has been permitted in the menu
item (⇒ Chapter 5.6.4).

5.6.6 Automatic overwrite

If this function is switched ON, while recording, as
soon as the memory card is full, the respectively oldest
recording is deleted and overwritten by the new re-
cording. Thus, a continuous recording is possible so
that it is not necessary to delete the memory card
manually or to change it in the meantime.

5.6.7 Capture recording mode

This adjustment determines the type of recording with

With "SNAP 1 JPG" a picture file is generated in the
JPEG format, while with "VIDEO 5 SEC" and "VIDEO
10 SEC" a video sequence with sound is generated in
the ASF format of 5 s or 10 s length.

5.7 Operation with the infrared remote control
