4.4. Night light rainbow. POSITIONS: OFF/AUTO/ON. Switch from ON to OFF by

moving the switch at the base of the camera. On the top of the camera a night

light will continuously come on in different colours.

Voice activation of the night light: move the switch to AUTO. When the

environmental noise reaches a pre-established level, the night light comes on.

When the sound level in the surroundings is below a pre-established level the

night light switches off.

4.5. Light sensor for automatic infrared night vision: infrared night vision makes it

possible to take pictures in the dark. This function is activated automatically when

the amount of light around the camera is reduced. In this mode, only black and

white images appear on the receiver/monitor and only objects that are less than 2

m away will be visible.

voice activation, select AUTO. When the level of environmental sound reaches

a pre-established level, the camera sends the picture it is taking to the receiver/

monitor. When the level of environmental sound is below a pre-established

level, picture sending is automatically stopped and the receiver screen will also

switch off. To deactivate, select CAMERA. The camera will continuously send the

receiver/monitor the picture it is receiving.

5. Installing the AC/DC adapter

Insert the AC adapter jack into the DC socket of the unit and plug the AC adapter to a

conventional electrical socket. Switch the unit ON and the "ON" indicator will light up.

Warning: Only use the AC adapters supplied with the product. Incorrect use of the

adapter could cause the unit to fail.

6. Battery usage

The receiver operates with Lithium-ion batteries. If you use batteries not approved by

the manufacturer, DO NOT connect the voltage adapter to any of the units.

This product comes with ONE Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Use it to operate

the receiver when it is not possible to connect it to a conventional electrical supply.

Reconnect the receiver to the adapter or place it in the charger-stand as soon as

possible.

Battery features:

- Charging time: 8 hours.

- Battery life in energy saving mode (without transmission, screen or sound): 12

hours, approximately.

- Battery life in operation: 4.5 hours, approximately.

7. Safety instructions

Take every precaution to prevent fire, personal damage or product deterioration:

- Read all the safety and operating instructions before using this equipment.

- Keep the safety and operating instructions for future reference.

- Heed all warnings and follow all the instructions for this equipment.

- Water and humidity: This product is designed only for use indoors.

- Do not place the product in places where it could get wet. Do not place objects

containing liquid on top of the product. Do not use near water (close to a bath, pool,

basin, sink, damp places, etc.)

- Ventilation: Do not place on beds, sofas, carpets or similar surfaces that could block

the vents, nor in enclosed places, such as cupboards or display cabinets that might

prevent air circulation through the vents.

- Heat: Do not place the equipment close to heat sources, such as radiators, heat

outlets, heaters or other appliances that produce heat. Do not place open flames,

such as lit candles, on the equipment.

- Electricity supply: The product must only be connected to a power supply source of

the kind described in this instructions manual:

- Camera and receiver: AC/DC adapters: 6 V 800 mA (positive centre).

- Cleaning: Use a dry cotton cloth to clean away dust. Do not use water!

- Always disconnect the AC adapters from the electrical sockets when the product is

not in use.

- Penetration of objects or liquids: Always watch that no objects get inside the units

and that no liquids are spilt and penetrate them through the openings.

- Damages that require repair: This equipment must be repaired by qualified technical

personnel in the event that: objects or liquids get inside the units; the units are

exposed to rain; the units do not work properly or any significant change is noticed

in their performance.

- Warning: This product is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision of the

child. You should regularly check, in person, what your child is doing.

- Never use this equipment in such a way that your life, health or that of others or

the safety of your home depends on its operation. The manufacturer will accept no

liability or claim for any death or injuries resulting to any person nor for any losses

or damages incurred in relation to any property due to failure of this product or its

misuse.

8. Declaration regarding regulations

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful

interference in normal set ups. This equipment generates, uses and may emit

radio-frequency energy and, therefore, if is not installed and used pursuant to the

instructions, it may cause damaging interference in radio communications. However,

there is no guarantee that there will be no interference in a particular set-up. If this

device causes interference that is harmful to radio, television reception or Wi-Fi Router

which can be determined by switching the device on and off, the user should attempt

to correct the interference by taking any of the following measures:

- Modify the orientation or location of the receiver aerial.

- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.

- Connect the equipment to the output of a different circuit to the one to which the

receiver is connected.

- Consult the distributor or request assistance from a radio/TV technician.

If you use non-approved equipment or unprotected cables, it is most likely that there

will be interference in the reception of radio and TV signals. Users are warned that

changes or modifications in the equipment carried out without the manufacturer's

approval could cancel the users' right to use this equipment.
